Liberty Mutual Invitational Announces Partnership with Jason Kendall Ray Foundation (DOWNLOAD ACTUAL RELEASE HERE)
The #1 charity event in golf, the Liberty Mutual Invitational, announced yesterday it will be partnering with the Jason Kendall Ray Foundation as title sponsor for their golf tournament and auction September 20th at River Run Country Club in Davidson, NC.
The Jason Kendall Ray Foundation offers financial support to transplant and organ patients at UNC Comprehensive Transplant Center. Last year’s golf tournament and auction raised over $40,000 for the Center.
Loren Shapiro, on behalf of Liberty Mutual said, “We are delighted to join forces with the Jason Kendall Ray Foundation and help raise money and awareness for this important issue. The community and business organizations involved, and the volunteers have done a tremendous job putting the tournament together.”
The Liberty Mutual Invitational, the #1 Charity Event in Golf, holds tournaments across the country and throughout the year. Each year, thousands of golfers participate for a chance to win great prizes and to help those less fortunate.
The Liberty Mutual Invitational – Jason Kendall Ray Foundation Golf Tournament and Auction will be held September 20, 2010 at River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina. The winning team will earn an invitation to compete on a U.S. Open course at The Liberty Mutual Invitational National Finals to be held at Pinehurst, North Carolina March 10th -14th, 2011.
The 18-hole tournament at River Run will feature a scramble format where men and women amateur golfers of all skill levels compete in teams. Members of the winning foursome will receive prizes at a dinner and awards ceremony hosted at River Run.
Keynote speaker at the awards ceremony will be NASCAR executive Humpy Wheeler. Molly Grantham, WBTV news anchor and UNC Alum will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.
